Online and In-Person Tutoring
During the early years of education, children start to discover where their strengths lie, start to find out what they are interested in, and excavate difficulties and challenges for the first time.
Facilitating tuition at this primary stage can provide the attention and guidance needed for children to flourish academically at later stages, and a positive experience of education will automatically apprise a child’s attitude towards learning. Our tutors at the KSC help children to improve confidence and enthusiasm and we have seen consistent excellent outcomes. We provide In-person and online tuition for Year 3, Year 4 Year 5 and 6 students, teach them Maths, English and Reasoning depending on their level understanding. We stickly follow DfE’s curriculum of syllabus all classes.
Maths
In the primary level children are taught how to understand numbers and how to solve problems in various formats.
Our expert tutors help helps students master essential skills at their own pace through fun and interactive questions, bult in support and motivating awards. Our tutors go through the 4 rules of numbers:
- Addition
- Substruction
- Multiplication and
- Division then on to fractions etc.
English
Learn to read and write is the most significant event for a child’s education. It provide them an equipment for effective communication, enable them to read widely and help to discover new points of interest as well as wide imagination.
Children at KSC will learn Fiction, Non-fiction, Spellings, Grammar and story writing technique. For example, Children in Year 4 and above are set 20 spellings to learn per week plus the meanings. The teacher will listen to your child’s reading and ask and set them work accordingly. All pupils get some form of English card, usually comprising of a Comprehension and other English questions working on their grammar and general knowledge.
Reasoning
Reasoning is splitting up into verbal and non-verbal. The verbal section is a combination of English, Maths and General Knowledge. While the non-verbal sections are basically visual information, for example, continuing a pattern of shapes, pictures and designs.
Reasoning plays vital role to improve general ability to solve a variety of problems.
